Environmental Policy
Montel’s products are manufactured to meet and exceed environmental standards and provide a long useful life. Montel's suppliers are also selected according to these same friendly environmental practices criteria. Montel's steel supplier uses from 57% to 86% of recyclable steel content. The company uses chemicals and raw materials that can be recycled in all manufacturing processes. The steel scraps are being collected and shipped to a recycling steel facility which are 100% fully recyclable.
Montel uses powder coat paint which is durable and non-off gassing. Montel uses low V.O.C. (Volatile Organic Compound) paints to reduce air pollution thus releasing negligible and the lowest emissions of V.O.C. as possible. Our paints suppliers are selected according to severe criteria and based on their commitment to meeting our friendly environmental practices. The waste from our coating operation is recyclable and collected for treatment according to government, states and provinces regulations.
Montel's packaging department uses minimal amount or cardboards and whenever possible shrink wrap all the materials while ensuring that the products are safely protected when in transit to the customers.
