Modular Millwork

Workroom furniture has become an integral part to all companies through common areas for Mail, Kitchen and Break areas, Copy Rooms as well as specialty areas such as Repair Centers, Labs, Work Stations and Call Centers. In the past, this product was created by carpenters and attached to the walls and floors and either remained there or was torn out when a new situation created change.

Modular Millwork makes it possible to respond to change in a cost effective way that ensures change can take place easily and elegantly, rather than with sledge hammers and pry bars.

At Modular Millwork, they really mean Modular.  The units are framed in steel tubing and can be altered at any time to create cabinets, doors, drawers or open units.  The modularity makes it possible to move the installation without needing to tear it apart as happens to regular millwork.
This factor and several material choices make this product a Green alternative to normal millwork.

Three Advantages

  • For the End User: The furniture is flexible, reusable and cost effective. Also, since it is not attached to the building, this means that they can write off the investment in 7 years instead of 31.
  • For the Architect: this means that it helps them with valuable LEED Points. Indoor
Environmental Quality (IEQ); Materials and Resources (MR); Innovation and Design; (CI) Innovation In Upgrades; Operations and Maintenance (EB)  Also, the programming work is done by factory trained reps who Analyze, meet with end users, catalog, take pictures, check electrical placement, assure uppers and lowers are the correct height, and it is fully drawn in CAD.
  • For the Contractor: Millwork coordination is eliminated; room is painted and finished; millwork is installed as furniture later.
